Dan and Scarlet open the episode with an astrology and tarot forecast for the week of September 9, 2019, to September 15, 2019, followed by a long form educational episode all about the fundamentals of astrology. We go over the zodiac and what it is, the concept of the twelve signs, and then cover the planets and their rulership. This is a great reference episode if you ever need a refresher, and you can always skip the forecast and go straight to the episode by using our time markers! We hope this is helpful to all of you astro newbies out there, and let us know if you need any further clarification before we release part two!

Also I wanted to mention -- Scarlet talks about how cool it would be for someone to make a tactile zodiacal set with pieces you can move around...well, WE MADE THAT! If you're interested, it's on our Etsy store, raveninaworldtree, and it's the natal chart set. It's a wooden central disk with the zodiac signs on it, a set of planetary coins, and a clear acrylic houses disk or a decans disk.
